L’Étape du Tour 2026, every split of every rider
Le Bourg d’Oisans → Alpe d’Huez, 170 km over the Croix de Fer, Télégraphe, Galibier and Sarenne. This explorer indexes the full timing data of the race — 12,733 finishers timed on 12 mats along the course, climb-by-climb leaderboards — beyond what the official results page shows.
Every classified rider has a page: splits, checkpoint ranks, climb times vs. the field.
When the amateurs met the Tour
Six days after L’Étape, the 2026 Tour de France raced the same Télégraphe and Galibier. On the all-time Strava segment leaderboards, the fastest EDT riders land right in the middle of the pro peloton.
Luca Cavallo climbed it in 33:32 — 8th of all time, and a touch quicker than Tadej Pogačar’s 33:57 on stage day. Thibaut Clément (33:33) is right there too.
Thomas Gobert did 48:32 — 52nd all-time, slotted in between Filippo Ganna, Michał Kwiatkowski and Jonas Rickaert.
Fair-play caveat: the pros ride these climbs at tactical stage pace inside a five-hour race, not as flat-out efforts — so read it as a maxed-out amateur next to a pro riding within the bunch. Same tarmac, same clock.

Rankings at every checkpoint
The course had 12 timing mats — who led the race at each one, and how the field spread out along the course. Mats occasionally miss a rider (~690 finishers lack at least one read), which is why some rider pages show “mat missed” on a segment.

5 finishers asked to stay anonymous in the results. We respect that — and rank them against each other anyway.

About this project. Timing data from the official race timekeeping (Sport Innovation / TimeTo), fetched once after the race and republished here with per-climb segment times, recomputed leaderboards and per-rider pages that the official results don’t offer. Riders who asked to be anonymous in the official results stay anonymous here. Times are chip times (the basis of the official ranking).
